Bunbury Fringe Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary in January 2026

Running from 23–31 January 2026, the milestone festival will once again transform the Bunbury CBD into a vibrant playground of theatre, music, dance, comedy, circus, poetry, and more. The 10th anniversary program is one of the festival’s biggest yet, packed with acclaimed new works, returning favourites, and performances from accaimled Australian and International artists.

Festival highlights include:

  • Skinny by cabaret powerhouse Michelle Pearson
  • Mayakeniny with Maatakitj — a stirring Noongar‑led cultural experience
  • ORPHEUS, the latest work from internationally acclaimed storytellers Wright & Grainger
  • Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin — a dazzling one‑man homage to the silent film legend
  • You & I by Casus Creations — an intimate, high‑flying celebration of queer love
  • YUCK Circus: Naughties — a throwback acrobatic riot celebrating all things Y2K

The festival launches in full birthday mode with an all‑out Opening Night Party hosted by Fringe icon Famous Sharron, featuring giveaways, DJs, a vinyl listening lounge with aerials, and the long‑awaited return of Marmalade Mama, performing live for the first time since 2018 and possibly for the last time ever.

From family‑friendly circus adventures like Bloom & Wonder to late‑night cabaret chaos in Messy Friends: Party Favours, Bunbury Fringe 2026 offers something for every taste, age, and appetite for the unexpected.

The program also features beloved Fringe staples including Our Shout, the Bunbury Comedy Gala, and the National Poetry Slam Heat, alongside new collaborations with local artists, schools, and community groups.

The full program is now live at www.bunburyfringe.com, with tickets selling fast.

OH, FOR GOD’S SAKE! – A Spiritual Guide Told Through Humorous Tales
This is an honest, provocative, and deeply human journey through the realm of spirituality, told through chronicles that explore the divine — not as dogma, but as a mirror of our anxieties, doubts, fears, and
redemptions.

With clever humour, literary sensitivity, and a generous dose of irony, the author observes human behaviour in the light of the sacred, and the sacred in the light of the everyday, blending spirituality with ordinary life.

This book is neither a religious treatise nor a guide to enlightenment. Instead, it is a vivid and emotive account of someone who sits at the table with God, the Devil, and themselves, to discuss everything
that truly matters: guilt, forgiveness, love, ego, and silence.
